The DSA, TCOR & e-Evidence Package regulatory timeline
Key dates that determine when your representative obligations start — and how much time you have left.
TCOR becomes applicable
The Regulation on addressing the dissemination of terrorist content online (TCOR) enters into application. In-scope hosting service providers without a main EU establishment must appoint a legal representative under Article 17.
DSA applies to VLOPs & VLOSEs
Providers designated as Very Large Online Platforms or Very Large Online Search Engines (over 45 million monthly EU users) become subject to the DSA, including the Article 13 representative obligation.
e-Evidence Package adopted
Regulation (EU) 2023/1543 and Directive (EU) 2023/1544 are formally adopted, establishing European Production and Preservation Orders for electronic evidence.
DSA applies to all in-scope providers
In-scope service providers offering services in the EU without an EU establishment must appoint a DSA legal representative under Article 13.
e-Evidence Package becomes applicable
In-scope service providers (electronic communications, domain/IP services, qualifying information society services) offering services in the EU without an establishment in the EU must designate a legal representative under Regulation (EU) 2023/1543 and Directive (EU) 2023/1544.
The deadline has passed. Are you compliant?
If your business is in scope, make sure your EU legal representation is in place.
